What if every child had a laptop?

Nicholas Negroponte, the founder and creator of One Laptop Per Child, is a professor at MIT who decided that every child–no matter where they are, who they are, or what they believe–deserves the technology and educational opportunities that a laptop provides. When he developed the roughly $200 laptop that is now the foundation for the Laptops for Egypt project, he started a revolution in the educational and technological worlds by creating an accessible and affordable computer for the world’s poorest children.
